Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Channel Manager to join our team. The Channel Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our contact center channel partners, driving sales growth, and ensuring that our products and services reach a broader market through these partnerships. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, sales expertise, relationship management, and excellent communication skills. The Channel Manager will work closely with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to align our products, services, and solutions with our partner needs and market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, distributors, and resellers
  • Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand market reach
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all channel partners, addressing their needs and concerns promptly

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement channel sales strategies
  • Set and achieve sales targets through channel partners
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance, providing support and resources to maximize sales

Training and Enablement:

  • Provide training and resources to channel partners to ensure they are equipped to sell our products/services effectively
  • Develop and deliver product presentations, sales tools, and training programs tailored to partner needs

Marketing and Co-Branding:

  • Work with the marketing team to develop co-marketing initiatives with channel partners
  • Assist partners in creating and executing joint marketing campaigns to drive sales and brand awareness
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities within the channel landscape to adjust go to market strategies accordingly

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report on key performance metrics related to channel sales
  • Maintain a healthy and clean pipeline with partners to report on channel activities and goal attainment
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure partner needs are met and there is a consistent message across all channels
  • Act as champion and voice of partners with internal and external teams to ensure cross team collaboration

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in channel management, sales, or business
  • development
  • Knowledge of different channel partners including VARs and Resellers
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets through channel partnerships
  • Experience working in conversational AI and contact center is highly desirable 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of contact centers and AI is a plus
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25%
