Mission/Purpose: 

This is a unique position in that the Certified Health and Wellness Coach will be working directly with an impactful team of natural health and wellness advocates in an all-virtual practice that focuses on healing type 2 diabetes, to serve as the main line of support for accepted patients throughout the duration of their treatment plans, and hold them accountable to completing required steps in the plan, in a manner consistent with Botelho Chiropractic’s standards.

The ideal candidate will work closely with patients to adhere to our personalized plans that address the root causes of diabetes, focusing on nutrition, lifestyle changes, and stress management. This role requires a compassionate approach and a commitment to guiding patients towards sustainable wellness and improved quality of life.

Accountabilities:

• Virtual coaching visits with current patients
• Maintain communication with patients between visits via email or private chat on PracticeBetter
• Creating and updating SOAP Notes during visits
• Patient show-up rate no lower than 90%
• Sharing resources with patients
• Ordering necessary nutraceuticals
• Tracking patient overall improvement; this includes but is not limited to blood glucose levels, energy, weight, mood.
• Reports to team when patient is not meeting goals

Requirements

Technical Knowledge

Required

• Proficiency with Zoom
• Google Suite - Docs, Sheets, Slides

Preferred

• Proficiency with PracticeBetter
• Slack
• Google voice

Qualifications

• Possesses either a Functional Health Coach OR Health and Wellness Coach certification

Work Experience:

• Experience working with Type 2 diabetics
• At least 1 year of experience in coaching
• Experience in high volume patient load (up to 30 patients weekly)
