CCTV Surveillance Operator

Chicago Cornea Consultants, LTD is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented CCTV Surveillance Operator to join our team. As a leading ophthalmology practice, we are committed to ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and premises. As a CCTV Surveillance Operator, you will play a critical role in monitoring and maintaining our closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems to detect and deter security threats. Your sharp observation skills, attention to detail, and ability to respond appropriately to potential incidents will contribute to our goal of providing a secure environment for our practice.

This position is for a full-time experienced CCTV Surveillance Operator who can demonstrate knowledge and experience in monitoring CCTV systems and responding to security events. Experience working in a healthcare or medical setting is preferred.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent observation and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. Strong communication skills are essential, as the CCTV Surveillance Operator will collaborate with security personnel and other staff members to ensure a swift and appropriate response to potential security incidents. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to CCTV surveillance and privacy is important.

We are looking for a Full-time CCTV Surveillance Operator to join our team. The CCTV Surveillance Operator will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing the CCTV systems across our practice locations. The position requires excellent observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. The ideal candidate should be proactive, reliable, and have the ability to make quick and accurate decisions in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate CCTV systems to detect and prevent security breaches
• Ensure the proper functioning of CCTV equipment and report any malfunctions
• Identify and evaluate potential security threats and escalate incidents as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of security events and prepare incident reports
• Collaborate with security personnel and other staff members to coordinate response to security incidents
• Adhere to applicable laws and regulations regarding CCTV surveillance and privacy
• Stay updated on best practices and technological advancements in CCTV surveillance

Requirements

• Prior experience as a CCTV Surveillance Operator or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and their operation
• Ability to respond effectively to security incidents and make quick decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations related to CCTV surveillance and privacy
• Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate with security personnel and other staff members
• Reliable and able to work shifts, including nights and weekends
