C++ and Embedded Linux - Contract Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and optimizing embedded software using C++ and Embedded Linux on x86 Intel chipsets. Experience with camera signal processing and new product development is highly preferred. Additionally, proficiency with development tools such as VS Code and CMake is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize embedded software solutions for x86 Intel-based systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new product features.
• Implement and maintain software for camera signal processing.
• Utilize development tools like VS Code and CMake to streamline development workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
• Document software designs and maintain detailed records of development processes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development with a strong focus on C++ and Embedded Linux.
• Proven experience working with x86 Intel chipsets.
• Hands-on experience with camera signal processing is highly preferred.
• Experience in new product development, from concept to production.
• Proficiency with development tools such as VS Code and CMake.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Knowledge of hardware-software integration and debugging.
• Familiarity with software version control systems (e.g., Git).
