About the role

Reporting to the Business Applications Manager, the Business Application Generalist is responsible for deploying, managing, upgrading, and supporting various enterprise applications, technology solutions, and processes. This role involves project management, analysis, consulting, design, configuration, implementation security, and governance to ensure the reliability, security, scalability, and effectiveness of enterprise applications critical to our organization's core business functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and configure enterprise applications to support One Legal's business processes. You will be the primary or secondary administrator of one or more applications.
  • Lead continuous improvements for enterprise applications and partner with the business to identify, prioritize, implement, and test new enhancements and process improvements.
  • Stay current on the enterprise application’s roadmap, enhancements, and changes. Identify opportunities and potential impacts.
  • Conduct complex analysis of stakeholder needs, document requirements, and translate them into appropriate system and process requirements.
  • Perform deployments of application/product releases to production environments.
  • Lead small to medium-sized projects to improve data-focused insights or increase company efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain simple to complex reports and dashboards using various reporting development tools.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document enterprise application-related issues.
  • Provide support for enterprise application integration issues, changes to existing integrations, and new integrations.
  • Serve as a liaison with external vendors for support, consultation, and procurement coordination.
  • Develop appropriate technical and procedural documentation that enables successful support and use of enterprise applications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in Enterprise Application Operations or Business Systems roles
  • Prior experience with workflows and process improvement and managing and supporting software integrations.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced start-up environment and are comfortable managing multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
  • You are a self-starter, thrive in a customer-centric environment, and have the interpersonal skills to manage business relationships.
  • You have exceptional time management and prioritization skills and are resilient under pressure.
  • You have experience with 3rd Party Tools & application package installation & maintenance.
  • You have advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities in system problem identification and resolution.
  • You are proficient in SQL and its variation among popular databases.
  • You have the knowledge necessary to design, set up, operate, and correct malfunctions involving technology systems.
  • You have the ability to work independently on complex technical projects as well as on a team of technical professionals and departmental decision-makers.
  • You have the ability to handle mission-critical production environments.
  • You are comfortable communicating about your work with both technical and non-technical team members, including product managers, engineers, and end users.
  • You can transform high-level business needs or challenges into detailed requirements.
  • Prior experience or training in program and/or project management is a bonus, especially if you’ve used JIRA to manage your work.
  • You love to deliver value to your users and your teammates through your work.

Compensation

The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, equity, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications.

$86,000 - $108,000 base pay
