About the Role
Our client, the most award-winning studio in the US is seeking a Blender Animator for a 4 to 6-week remote contract with possible extensions to other projects. The animator will work on 3D animation of animal and human characters in Blender or Maya, format animations to fit the project pipeline, follow design guidelines, and collaborate with other animators, 3D artists, designers, producers, and developers.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate should have at least a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Animation, Video Game Development, or related field, though prior experience may qualify.
- They must have at least 6+ years of experience in an animation role at an Interactive shop, agency, or game studio.
- Expert knowledge in Blender animation techniques and the CG pipeline is required.
- Candidates must be dynamic, organised, have experience in Unreal and Unity, and any experience in AR or web-based applications is a plus.
- Python experience is a plus, and knowledge of general rigging practices is necessary.
