Bilingual Burmese Speaking Speech Language Pathologist

Boston Speech, a woman and speech therapist-owned company, is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Bilingual Burmese Speaking Speech Language Pathologist. In this role, you will provide speech therapy evaluations to individuals who speak Burmese as their primary language. Y

This position is part time contract work nd offers a competitive rate of $700 per evaluation

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans
• Report at IEP meetings
• Educate patients and their families on effective communication strategies
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress

Requirements

• A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Proficiency in speaking and understanding the Burmese language
• Prior experience in diagnosing and treating communication and swallowing disorders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Proficiency in utilizing specialized technology and software related to speech-language pathology
