About the Role
Our client is seeking an expert in Garageband audio engineering to assist primarily with mixing and mastering. This ongoing project is currently in the planning and research phase but is expected to require the services of an audio engineer for a day or two. - Mix the recorded tracks within Garageband, ensuring proper levels, EQ, and balance between instruments and vocals.
- Apply processing techniques such as compression, reverb, and other effects to enhance the overall sonic quality.
- Master the mixed tracks to achieve a polished, professional-sounding EP.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using Garageband for audio engineering, mixing, and mastering.
- Strong understanding of audio principles, including EQ, compression, and signal processing.
- Familiarity with mixing and mastering techniques for various genres of music.
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
