Summary of Position:
As a Product Owner, you will work closely with our global development team to ensure the successful execution of initiatives. You will be responsible for managing the product backlog, refining user stories, and providing clear communication between the business stakeholders and the development teams. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our products meet business needs, are delivered on time, and exceed client expectations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for our products, including the Analytics Platform, Marketing, Engagement, and AI solutions
- Write detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, ensuring they are communicated and understood by the development team
- Ensure all product requirements, user stories, and decisions are documented clearly and concisely, providing the team with comprehensive resources for development
- Collaborate with the development team during sprint planning sessions to ensure the most valuable features are delivered in each sprint
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into actionable tasks for the development team
- Serve as the point of contact between the development team and the company's leadership, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and priorities
- Work with the Director of Product Management in creating and maintaining a product roadmap based on business priorities, market needs, and customer feedback
- Understand the specific industry, vertical, and business context for which the solution and capabilities are designed, ensuring alignment with market needs and trends
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders, perform demos, and ensure that solutions, capabilities, and features meet or exceed expectations
- Engage with stakeholders to gather insights, input, and feedback on future capabilities, driving continuous improvement and innovation in product offerings
- Validate capabilities upon completion to ensure they are what users want and align with the product vision
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews to keep the team focused, efficient, and aligned
- Use data from product analytics, performance metrics, and user feedback to make informed decisions and prioritize features that will drive the most value
- Identify and communicate any risks or blockers that may impact the timely delivery of features
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance and development productivity and use data to make informed decisions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner for SaaS, multi-tenant, and multi-user applications, preferably in a remote or distributed team setting
- Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies, especially in web development, analytics platforms, and AI-driven tools
- Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) with experience in managing sprint cycles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey business goals and technical requirements across time zones and cultural differences
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities to drive cross-functional teams toward successful product delivery
- Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools for backlog management and sprint planning
- Ability to break down complex problems into smaller, actionable items and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
The total compensation for this opportunity includes a base salary range of $75,000 - $80,000 plus benefits. This is our target compensation range and is subject to multiple factors including role, level, experience and location. As you go through our interview process, your recruiter will work with you to identify a competitive base salary within the proposed range and combine it with an annual bonus plan to get you excited about your future at EverService.
