The Associate Manager is an integral position on Wasserman’s Experiential Team with responsibility for the successful delivery of various aspects of agency projects for Wasserman’s Experiential division. This team member will ensure that the projects’ relevant operations and logistics are allocated and delivered on-time, on-budget and of a quality as expected by Wasserman and its clients. Additionally, the Associate Manager will contribute to the Departments operations, processes, agency quality control and third-party supplier management.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing various elements of the project, with a strong focus on onsite execution
- Work in a collaborative manner with all Wasserman account teams to ensure flawless project delivery
- Manage vendor relationships with audio, lighting, staging, registration, graphics, food and beverage, transportation, staffing, venue and labor
- Develop production schedules, run of shows, and enforce deliverable dates key to program’s success
- Manage relationships with Wasserman trusted suppliers and third-parties, though out the duration of projects
- Create a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment based on the company culture and values
- Follows all project processes and procedures and quality standards
- Ensures consistent positive working relationships between department and client service team members
- Works with colleagues to ensure that all agency suppliers meet Wasserman standards of sustainability, ethical purchasing, quality control and pricing structure
- Working with the senior production team to select the necessary and most appropriate suppliers for each project and as agreed with each of the account teams
- Oversee successful supplier delivery throughout the duration of each project
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2 years relevant / increasing operations experience
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and achieve deadlines
- Possesses exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Must be comfortable working as a continual partner to all Wasserman team members
- Open-minded mentality, allowing thorough exploration of all ideas and thought-starters
- Needs to be a focused, strong-minded individual with ambition to help grow the company
- Must thrive on a fast-paced environment and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude continuously
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Benefits
Base salary: $45,000-$70,000 plus bonus potential.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each hire.
