The role of the Associate Director, Market Research will lead the market insight strategy and initiatives for TransCon CNP and SKYTROFA to guide business decisions, identify opportunities, and optimize product performance across various stages of the drug lifecycle.

This individual is responsible for managing external vendors and working with internal groups to ensure all processes are within pharmacovigilance and compliance requirements/standards. She will be responsible to work closely across all commercial functions to ensure alignment and transparency of insights across teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive market research strategies and project plans to support business objectives.
  • Lead primary and secondary research projects, including qualitative and quantitative studies, and competitive analysis-- including timelines, meetings, finance tracking, methodology, interviews, and deliverables.
  • Analyze and interpret research data to provide actionable insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and portfolio management.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and strategic implications.
  • Manage relationships with external research vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including global and regional marketing, sales, medical affairs, and product development, to ensure alignment and synergies where possible.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to brand leadership, influencing key business decisions with data-driven insights.
  • Ensure all research activities comply with ethical standards, as well as pharmacovigilance and compliance requirements and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in market research for pharmaceuticals or biotech
  • Ability to prioritize high-volume workload based on challenges and business needs, with minimal supervision, working with sense of urgency and efficiency
  • Expert understanding of pharmacovigilance, legal, regulatory and other compliance-related topics within project scopes
  • Excellent project management and follow-up skills in cross-functional environment with the ability to organize and complete multiple projects efficiently and on time.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across diverse teams.
  • Sets priorities, creates logical work plans and communicates progress.
  • While being organized and logical, must balance this with a high degree of flexibility to change direction when needed.
  • A confident self-starter, who can work independently and creatively but also be a team player.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in market research methodologies, tools and software
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in market research.
