Full Job Description
Summary:
The Asset Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with site owners and carriers, maximizing revenue, reducing expenses, and identifying new business opportunities. This individual will play a crucial role in overseeing site management, negotiating agreements, and collaborating with internal teams to address operational challenges and ensure site success.
Essential Functions:
- Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for existing telecommunications sites.
- Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with site owners and carriers.
- Address site owners’ needs and concerns, ensuring a positive experience and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Revenue Maximization and Expense Reduction:
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue from site leases and reduce operational expenses.
- Identify new leasing opportunities, acquisitions, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
- Monitor market trends to uncover additional sources of revenue or cost-saving measures.
- Site Management and Development:
- Work with carriers on contract renewals, amendments, and other legal matters related to site management.
- Partner with Business Development Managers to facilitate new collocations and other value-enhancing site developments.
- Collaborate with the Operations Team and other internal stakeholders to address and resolve site-related issues quickly and efficiently.
- Transaction Negotiation and Documentation:
- Lead negotiations with site owners and carriers, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Work closely with the internal Legal team to ensure compliance with legal requirements and proper documentation of agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and agreements for future reference.
- Minimal travel may be required, as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in asset management, real estate, or telecommunications, with a strong understanding of lease management and site operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and manage relationships.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in managing complex transactions and resolving operational issues.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience working in the telecommunications or real estate industry.
- Familiarity with telecommunications site development, collocation, and network expansion.
- Proficiency in online research tools and document retrieval systems.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with contract management and legal documentation in a corporate setting.
