About the Role
A technology company specialising in innovative digital solutions for the tourism industry is seeking an experienced AR/VR Developer. The company is embarking on an exciting project to create immersive augmented reality experiences for Destination Marketing Organisations (DMOs). This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge WebAR applications that will revolutionise how tourists interact with and explore destinations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement WebAR experiences using a specialised SDK
- Create a range of AR applications, from simple to complex, tailored for DMOs
- Utilise HTML, JavaScript, and A-frame to build robust and interactive AR content
- Design and develop 3D models suitable for AR applications
- Optimise AR experiences for various devices and platforms
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in AR/VR development, with a focus on WebAR applications
- Strong proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and A-frame
- Expertise in 3D modeling and animation for AR/VR environments
- Experience with WebAR SDKs and frameworks
- Solid understanding of AR principles and best practices
