Full Job Description
Seeking Appian Software Development professionals with 3 to 8+ years of experience in developing software solutions using Appian. This position is a full-time position, to be performed remotely from within the continental United States.
At J-Mack Technologies, we deliver software solutions that help organizations integrate data, automate decisions, and optimize their operations. We support large government organizations with process optimization. Our team develops the tools to help organizations provide services quickly, securely, and with utmost accuracy.
J-Mack’s Software Development Professionals develop software using various platforms. You’ll analyze the needs of users and the target different environments to ensure solutions are developed consistent with the prescribed architecture. Our solutions leverage the latest technologies, to include the latest advancements in cloud, business process automation, and machine learning.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain software.
- Implement highly scalable components and reliable web application functionality for high traffic transactional web-based data environment.
- Develop and maintain thorough and automated unit tests.
- Work as part of a cross-functional software development team.
- Follow Agile Software Engineering and modern software development best practices.
Requirements
Qualified candidates need:
- At least 2 years of experience developing software using the Appian platform.
- Understanding of Appian principles and data persistence.
- Experience working with Appian process models.
- Experience with Appian interface design.
- Experience working with Appian records and expression rules.
- Software development skills, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Experience in debugging and correcting errors in computer programs.
- Working knowledge of the Agile and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
Candidates must have at a minimum a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or other engineering/technical discipline.
** Alternatively, 8 additional years of experience may be used to substitute for the education requirement.
Candidates must be able to pass a US Government background investigation as a condition of employment.
