About the Role
Our client, a music production collective is seeking a skilled mid-level animator to create a music video with an artistic and dark visual style, avoiding a cartoony aesthetic. This is a single project expected to last approximately one week. The animator will work remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and develop an artistic and dark visual style for the music video, in line with the collective's vision.
- Create original animations and motion graphics that bring the music to life in a compelling and visually striking manner.
- Collaborate with the collective to understand their creative direction and ensure the final product aligns with their expectations.
Requirements
- Mid-level experience in animation, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in dark, artistic, and non-cartoony styles.
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation software
- Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, staging, and character performance.
- Familiarity with visual effects, compositing, and post-production techniques.
