About the Role

A client is seeking an experienced animation artist to develop a 10-15 minute narrative video for their YouTube channel. This project focuses on creating lore-based content in an anime aesthetic for a VTuber platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the content creator to bring their story vision to life through engaging animated sequences.

Responsibilities:

• Create character designs and storyboards that align with the established anime aesthetic
• Develop and animate scenes that effectively convey the narrative elements
• Design background environments and props that enhance the storytelling
• Implement dynamic camera movements and transitions between scenes

Requirements

• Proven experience in anime-style animation with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar)
• Understanding of animation principles and cinematography
• Experience with long-form animation projects (8+ minutes)
• Strong storytelling abilities and visual composition skills
