As part of our efforts to combat Trumpism and authoritarianism, this role focuses on providing administrative support for the Stop the Nominees Program, with opportunities to oversee additional initiatives based on performance.
Position Overview
In preparation for a potential second Trump presidency, opposing harmful cabinet appointments will be essential. Movement Labs seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to oversee the execution of the Stop the Nominees Program. This role will be responsible for compiling data, preparing reports, and ensuring that necessary information is communicated to the appropriate team members.
This position reports directly to a Strategy Lead of the Stop the Nominees Program and is ideal for individuals skilled at managing data, working with spreadsheets, and using reporting tools to track and present metrics effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to senior management, teams, and departments as needed.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Collect, organize, and analyze data from various departments to track key metrics and KPIs.
- Metrics Tracking: Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and other systems to track ongoing performance indicators and operational metrics.
- Report Preparation: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports summarizing key metrics, trends, and performance outcomes. Ensure reports are clear, accurate, and delivered on time to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data collection, tracking, and reporting processes.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with different departments to gather required data and ensure accuracy in reporting metrics.
- Assist in KPI Development: Support the creation and refinement of KPIs and performance metrics in collaboration with leadership.
- Performance Analysis: Track trends and anomalies in data and provide insights to leadership to guide decision-making.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of all reports, data analyses, and KPI-related documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in an administrative role with a focus on data management, reporting, or tracking metrics (typically 1-3 years).
- Data Proficiency: Comfortable analyzing data and creating actionable insights to guide strategy.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Asana, AirTable, and digital outreach platforms.
- Commitment: Deep alignment with progressive values, social justice, and defending democracy.
- Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing creative solutions in dynamic environments.

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of $57,00-$67,500 as part of a transparent salary structure with clear levels of advancement.
