Full Job Description
Founded in 2018 by former Amazon executives Peter Beke and Hannah Blackburn, The Hawker’s Club emerged from their shared belief that they could provide enhanced value to sellers and vendors beyond Amazon. Drawing on their Amazon experience, they aimed to address the specific challenges faced by vendors and sellers outside the platform.
Peter Beke, British-Hungarian, commenced his career with internships at OTP Bank and Microsoft. His pursuit of strategic marketing led him to the UK, where he completed his masters at Cranfield University. Subsequently, he contributed his expertise to 4C Associates before joining Amazon in 2016. At Amazon, Peter honed his focus on vendor operational excellence and vendor experience, ultimately co-founding The Hawker’s Club in 2018.
Hannah Blackburn, originally British but grew up in Brunei and ventured to the UK for her History degree at Durham University. Beginning her career as an auditor at PWC, Hannah transitioned to Amazon in 2015, where she initially focused on vendor excellence and marketing. Evolving her role to include in-stock management and profitability, Hannah later played a pivotal role in the launch of Amazon Australia before co-founding The Hawker’s Club.
The Hawker’s Club is dedicated to navigating the eCommerce journey alongside its clients, particularly in the face of evolving marketplace expectations. With platforms like Amazon, Wayfair, and Walmart increasingly requiring vendors and sellers to assume additional retail responsibilities, such as customer service and marketing, Peter and Hannah concentrate on guiding businesses to not only adapt but thrive in this dynamic environment.
Having multiple Fortune 500 companies on the active client roster, The Hawker’s Club stands out as one of the few agencies prioritising Vendor Central and providing comprehensive business advisory services, as opposed to focusing solely on catalogue and SEO. Recognised as the preferred partners of BWG Strategy, the largest eCommerce executive network in the US, they have established themselves as industry leaders.
The Hawker’s Club, under the leadership of Peter and Hannah, is dedicated to guiding businesses through the intricate landscape of eCommerce, offering tailored solutions and industry expertise to foster success beyond the realms of Amazon.
