We are looking for an Account Executive to leverage the Ewing business model to acquire and grow revenue with large regional companies. This role will optimize Ewing’s key strengths in serving our large regional customers, including our branch density, experienced and knowledgeable local staff, and ability to help customers concentrate and maximize growth opportunities.
You'll be directly responsible for the expansion of our customer base. The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales and customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach.
Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients. The Account Executive will introduce an Account Manager or Branch Manager in the market early in the sales process with the intention of this person being the main point of contact long-term. Once the customer has agreed to do business with Ewing, there will be a handoff period where the account will be transitioned from the Account Executive to the Account Manager or Branch Manager.
Responsibilities
The Account Executive is expected to achieve an annual quota that will be based on an aggregate number. However, there may or may not be account-based sub-goals. Additional requirements include the completion of tasks and activities assigned in support of annual plans established by the Direct Marketing Manager.
- Execute the annual sales plan in accordance with the Company’s strategic objectives under the direction of the Direct Marketing Manager.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
- Present products to prospective clients
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction and maintain the company’s reputation
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
- Focus on maintaining relationships with Owners/C-Level Employees of large regional accounts.
- Collaborate with local leadership on opportunities with large regional accounts in the market.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience
- Minimum of 5 years of green industry experience
- Proactively makes the right decisions for the customer and Ewing.
- Strategic thinker; can think several moves ahead.
- Understands and operates under Ewing’s core values.
