About the Role
Our client, an environmental non-profit organisation is seeking a skilled 2D Animator specialising in After Effects for a short-term project. The task involves creating animated diagrams of the organisation's processes for both internal and external audiences. This remote position requires either a mid-level or junior professional capable of delivering high-quality animations within a timeframe of more than one week. The project is led by a senior video associate who is open to reviewing offers from qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Create animated diagrams using Adobe After Effects
- Develop two versions of the animation: a detailed version for internal use and a simplified version for external audiences
- Collaborate with the project lead to understand and accurately represent the organisation's processes
- Ensure animations are clear, engaging, and effectively communicate complex information
Requirements
- Proven experience with Adobe After Effects, particularly in creating 2D animations
- Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to create clear and engaging animated diagrams or infographics
- Excellent visual communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex processes into easily understandable visual formats
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration
