About the Role
Our client, a company specialising in children's television production is seeking a freelance 2D animator to create an animation. This is a single job opportunity with the potential for follow-up work, which will be required over a period of more than a week. The company, currently in the planning and research phase of their hiring process, is specifically looking to hire a beginner or junior-level animator.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the company's creative team to understand the project's requirements, style, and vision.
- Create 2D character designs, backgrounds, and other assets required for the animation.
- Animate the characters and elements to bring the story or concept to life.
- Ensure that the animation adheres to the company's style guidelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Beginner or junior-level experience as a 2D animator, with a basic understanding of animation principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard 2D animation software
- Familiarity with various animation styles and techniques, including character animation, frame-by-frame animation, and rigging.
