1458 - Staff Accountant

Sigma Defense is seeking a Staff accountant experienced in examining and analyzing accounting records, financial statements and financial reports to assess accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and standards. Analyze accounting processes, identify deficiencies, and formulate and implement corrective action plans to achieve compliance and mitigate risk.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proven experience in reviewing and evaluating accounting records, financial statements, and financial reports to ensure their accuracy and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and standards.
• Experience analyzing accounting processes, identifying deficiencies, and formulating and implementing corrective action plans.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or related field of study.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

• Examining and analyzing accounting records, financial statements and financial reports to assess accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and standards.
• Analyze accounting processes, identify deficiencies and formulate and implement corrective action plans to achieve compliance and mitigate risk.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually.
