Full Job Description

Sigma Defense is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support full-cycle recruitment processes for the Talent Acquisition Team. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the TAC supports Technical Recruiters and works directly with Operations teams and other functional areas.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with high proficiency in writing, data entry, Microsoft Office applications, and strong attention to detail. Additionally, the desired candidate is bright and creative, resourceful, has the ability to raise ideas for process improvements and implementations, jumps in when needed, and is ultimately supportive of sustaining and modeling our work culture, values, and mission at Sigma Defense.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 - 2 years of Talent Acquisition or Human Resources experience is desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) to include sourcing, engaging, and managing candidates is desired.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to shift priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through various recruitment and social platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with hiring partners.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and practices, including Federal ADA and EEOC requirements is preferred.
  • Understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, with the ability to quickly adapt to changes and implement new processes or methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience with data entry and audit across multiple platforms.
  • The hired candidate must have a strong work ethic with the ability to be creative, resourceful, and lead through challenging environments.
  • Candidate must be hungry and have a sense of personal accountability.
  • Thorough understanding and adherence to applicable policies, including state and federal, in compliance with local employment laws and regulations.

Education Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • An Associate or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or Business Management is preferred.
  • Professional experience in lieu of a degree may be accepted.

Essential Job Requirements (not all-inclusive)

Support front and back-end recruitment process and activities to include:

  • Job Requisition approval requests.
  • Job Requisition Library maintenance and audits.
  • Update recruitment tracking platforms and perform audits.
  • Perform candidate pre-employment processes and communicate with functional areas.
  • Manage the referral bonus program.
  • Source candidates for the Technical Recruiters.
  • Support marketing and branding initiatives with featured weekly jobs on multiple platforms.
  • Conduct internal communications to Sigma Defense employees on TA updates and job openings across multiple platforms.
  • Assist in recruiting new, backfill, and RFP (Request for Proposal) positions as needed.
  • Assist with team project work and initiatives as needed.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually.
