Opportunity: Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to ramp up manufacturing and production of their aircraft.
Requirements: You have at least 6+ years working in a fast paced startup environment with 2+ years of production ramp up experience.
Requirements
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to comprehend ambitious manufacturing objectives and priorities.
- Partner with engineering and production departments to assess the current statuses of CAD, system/sub-system assembly, in-house capabilities, etc.
- Coordinate project schedules involving various stakeholders
- Create a comprehensive production line and supply chain design for aircraft manufacturing.
- Take charge of coordinating design releases and modifications, managing configuration management.
- Establish direct relationships with contract manufacturers, from sourcing to oversight of relationships and deliverables.
- Implement processes for quality assurance and issue tracking.
- Oversee inventory management and inbound/outbound shipments
- Hold direct responsibility for production output
- Expand and supervise the production team as demand grows
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or Manufacturing
- 2+ years of experience in production ramp up
- 6+ years working in a fast paced environment
- Experience with program management
- Experience with PLM/PLD systems
- Experience with ERP inventory management
- Understanding of engineering drawings and documentation
