Full Job Description

TNP is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team in the Fort Worth, TX office. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks to support our operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Assist in the monthly and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review
  • Support auditors by providing documentation and assistance during audits
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as needed
  • Maintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures
  • Assist with Excel and Power BI report creating, troubleshooting and training

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 10 years of accounting experience preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power BI
  • Understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
