Kahoot! is hiring a Senior Channel Manager to join our Americas team. As a Senior Channel Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing on revenue-focused plans to attract new high performing partners while working with existing partners to drive sales performance and achieve growth objectives.
The Senior Channel Manager will also search for opportunities and drive initiatives to improve the flow and impact of Channel Sales. The Senior Channel Manager can negotiate, sign and interact with larger, international resellers and value adding partners (e.g. Crayon, Software One etc).
We are looking for someone who thrives on new challenges, has excellent presentation and communication skills and also has the ability to build great relationships with strategic partners.
The position is based in Austin, Texas.

The role
The Senior Channel Manager’s main responsibility is to develop and execute revenue-focused plans to attract new high performing partners while working with existing partners to drive sales performance and achieve growth objectives. The Senior Channel Manager will also search for opportunities and drive initiatives to improve the flow and impact of Channel Sales. The Senior Channel Manager can negotiate, sign and interact with larger, international resellers and value adding partners (e.g. Crayon, Software One etc).
Planning
- Develop and execute sales plans in collaboration with channel partners, identifying key opportunities and strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of channel sales activities with overall business goals and objectives.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the assigned channel, leveraging insights to refine sales plans and drive revenue growth.
Revenue
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships including resellers, VARs (Value-Added Resellers), referral partners, content partners and other relevant partners to drive revenue growth and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Establish revenue targets for channel partners and develop plans to meet or exceed these targets.
- Analyse sales performance data and metrics to assess channel effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, providing recommendations to enhance performance.
- Lead negotiations with channel partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements that support revenue growth and align with company objectives.
Sales Enablement
- Provide training and support to channel partners to enhance their sales capabilities and improve their ability to sell company products or services effectively.
- Assist in training and other enablement activities across commercial teams if needed.
Requirements
- Commercial experience with strategic partnerships and sales from a previous role within Partner Account Management, Account Management or Sales management.
- Ability to manage and run a complex sales process and to articulate the business value of SaaS offerings within Learning & Development and Communication.
- Higher education in a relevant field is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is a requirement.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- The Employee must be prepared to travel within the US.
