- Preparation of monthly billing, AR, and revenue reports
- Preparation of month-end AR and revenue reconciliation
- Posting AR payments daily to the correct account in the correct accounting period and cross-referencing to ensure accuracy
- Analyzing transactions to ensure accurate revenue recognition and provision records to the correct accounting period
- Reviewing and auditing AR reports and bank statements for proper revenue recognition
- Monitoring AR aging, reporting aged accounts, and investigating any past due accounts to share the results with Chief Revenue Officer, Collection team and other business partners
- Driving revenue recognition and AR cash receipts discussion among Practices, Accounting, Collection, and Billing
- Assisting in writing, implementing, and managing revenue recognition and AR accounting policy and internal controls for the internal control cycle Order to Cash
- Preparing month-end journal entries and performing month close for the entities assigned
- Performing consolidation for multiple entities as instructed
- Partnering with finance team to investigate variances between actual and budget or forecast and assisting in the budgeting and forecasting processes as needed
- Completing special projects as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years’ comprehensive experiences of general accounting including full cycle month close
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- 2+ years being in a senior accountant position with a publicly traded company
- 2+ years experiences in healthcare or insurances industries
- Proven track record in managing general ledger & subledgers
- Thorough accounting and reconciliation experiences in AR & revenue recognitions
- BA in Accounting required
- Master of Accounting / MBA preferred
- CPA license preferred or in pursuit of CPA license (CPA pursuit passed 1 or 2 sections)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting required
- Enthusiasm and excellent communication skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail and accuracy-focused
