Full Job Description
Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, the IS Projects Coordinator (ISPC) provides essential support for IS and corporate projects, as needed. This position involves coordinating with project owners, developers, QA, documentation, and training staff.
The ISPC is responsible for multiple project plans and schedules, organizing meeting statuses, and participation. This position identifies issues/conflicts and gathers/generates routine status reports for the management of assigned projects. The ISPC demonstrates effective time management, special technical skills, teamwork, writing, presentation expertise, and the ability to work on tight deadlines.
Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours. This position requires the ability to work extended and on-call hours, as business needs dictate.
Qualifications
- SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to utilize project management tools (e.g., software, programs)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Working expertise with the project life cycle, project management, documentation, and research
- Familiarity with federal regulatory concepts and requirements
- Strong written and oral communication; Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prepare effective presentations
- Knowledge of version or source control procedures using software tools, such as TFS
- Ability to plan and design layouts for special publications, such as brochures and annual reports

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, or the equivalent with relevant experience
EXPERIENCE
- 4 - 5 years of direct experience in project planning, status reporting, and presentations
