Full Job Description
PTP is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Clerk to support our maintenance team in coordinating schedules, processing work orders, and maintaining accurate records. The Maintenance Clerk will organize maintenance documentation, track inventory levels, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
Process maintenance work orders and schedule repairs as needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels.
Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders.
Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and reorder as needed.
Assist with the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
Provide administrative support to the maintenance department, including filing, data entry, and answering phones.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support ongoing projects.
Assist in compiling reports and analyzing maintenance data.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in administrative or maintenance-related fields is preferred.
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a maintenance or facilities management environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of maintenance procedures and terminology is a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
