Full Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Digital and Social Strategy to join our team and help us develop and execute digital marketing strategies for our clients. The ideal candidates doesn't simply have an understanding of the latest digital trends and best practices, they are creative visionaries who look to implement new ways forward for online channel content and performance ads. This person must have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners while running a sizeable team across several geographical offices.

We are prioritizing Bi-lingual candidates for this role who can speak and write fluent English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the digital strategy for clients, including developing a client-specific digital vision and driving the strategic direction of new and existing accounts.
  • Educate clients and agency teams on the latest digital trends and common practices, while helping establish our vision and the agency methods that will set us apart.
  • Oversee the development of social campaign briefs, strategies, rollout and amplification plans.
  • Establish partnerships with content creators and entertainment groups that can benefit our clients' marketing plans.
  • Employ creative targeting strategies to execute winning campaigns, including custom audiences, third-party data, suppression lists, lookalike audiences, and more.
  • Analyze monthly reports and campaign reports to identify trends and insights.
  • Track the effectiveness of implemented learnings and make adjustments as needed.
  • Develop and present social and digital plans for new business pitches.
  • Manage a team of Digital Marketing Managers and Social Media Specialists across at least two offices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of social media management or equivalent social/digital/integrated marketing experience within a fast-paced marketing agency.

• Ideally can speak and write fluently in both English and Spanish.

• Experience leading teams of 5-50 people.

• Proven portfolio and track record of creating best in class social activations, campaigns and stunts.

• Proven record of success placing paid ads on social platforms, developing social media creative, editing copy, and engaging with page visitors.

• Strong client management experience with a track record of communicating clearly and successfully with executive leadership.
• Proficient with analytic tools such as Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Sprout, and Brandwatch.
• Extensive knowledge of social media and digital ecosystems, with mastery of Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest and a growing knowledge of Threads.
• Flawless spelling and grammar.
• Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Commitment to excellence - working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
