Director of Business Engineering

The Director of Business Engineering is directly responsible for supervising and leading a team of Business Engineers, planning, scheduling, and guiding process improvement and solutioning efforts in order to deliver optimal process and technology solutions to existing and potential clients. On-going communication with other cross-functional teams and departments is critical in order to ensure end-to-end understanding of project needs and sufficient documentation with successful handoff in order to yield proper execution to defined solutions. Additionally, the Director of Business Engineering will develop and provide training to Business Engineers in the department ensuring compliance to defined project requirements and high-quality delivery of all project artifacts. This role is located on site in El Paso, Texas

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree

Field Experience:

• At least 5 years of client interface experience required (ex: technical sales, consulting, product management, client management, or business development)

• At least 5 years of experience in process re-design or re-engineering for maximizing quality and efficiency

Position Experience:

• At least 7 years of experience in a business engineer, process re-design or similar, position

Required Skills:

· Strong working knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean Methodologies and tools preferred

· Must have high proficiency in creating process workflows and maps, as well as documenting business requirements

· Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office suite of tools

· Effective analytic and problem-solving skills

· Creative and innovative

· Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills

· Able to effectively communicate high-level concepts and low-level details

· Able to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, clients and subject matter experts

· Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

· Able to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
