Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and overseeing all warehouse operations. This position will direct all supervisors with regards to receiving product, rotation, inventory, selecting product, dispatching, and shipping product in a timely and accurate manner. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with other departments to insure customer needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing warehouse employees and manage performance.
• Communicates and delegates plans and goals to staff. Works with team to ensure goals are met.
• Inspires teamwork and cooperation.
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, repacking and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Understands the paper flow requirements of receiving and shipping. Is able to trouble shoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse to meet all supplier & company standards.
• Works closely with all other departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Understands financial implications of the warehouse and implements plans to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employee as well as following up on work results.
• Maintains warehouse staff by coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Requirements

Experience: Knowledge of inventory flow and product quality management. Should have experience with product distribution, managing and supervising people, scheduling and planning, controlling costs, power jacks, forklifts, and customer service.

Skills and Ability: Good communication skills are important. Must comply with company rules and regulations and be able to meet scheduled deadlines. Ability to multitask in completing scheduled activities along with other assigned tasks. Ability to manage stress levels in a positive manner. Punctuality and a good work ethic will be important along with good problem solving skills. Must be a self-motivator.

Hours: Full time associate works 50+ hours per week, schedule and hours could vary based on business and production needs. Work completion varies pending on production.
