Drywall Superintendent

F. L. Crane & Sons, Inc. an employee-owned specialty contractor with over 75 years of experience covering a wide range of finishing, metal panel systems and custom crating. We are based out of Fulton MS and operate 14 divisions throughout the southeastern part of the US. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage drywall installation projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure efficient workflow.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor material inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Resolve on-site issues and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management.
• Conduct site inspections to assess work quality and compliance with building codes.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in drywall supervision or construction management (required)

Necessary Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in construction project management software
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed
