Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage drywall installation projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure efficient workflow.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Monitor material inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Resolve on-site issues and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management.
- Conduct site inspections to assess work quality and compliance with building codes.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in drywall supervision or construction management (required)
Necessary Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in construction project management software
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed
