Are you a dynamic leader passionate about optimizing hospital resources and enhancing patient care? Join our team as a Case Manager Director and lead our Case Management Department to ensure efficient utilization of hospital resources and compliance with regulatory standards.

Position: Case Manager Director

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee hospital utilization management, transition management, and operational management of the Case Management Department.
  • Promote effective utilization of hospital resources and timely revenue cycle processes.
  • Implement strategies for denial prevention and safe patient throughput.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to case management services.
  • Integrate national standards for case management scope of services, including utilization management, transition management, and care coordination.
  • Provide education to physicians, patients, families, and caregivers on case management processes and standards.
  • Lead the implementation and oversight of the hospital Utilization Management Plan to drive performance improvement.
  • Monitor processes to prevent payer disputes and ensure accurate completion of revenue cycle processes.
  • Develop and provide physician education and feedback on hospital utilization.
  • Manage the post-acute provider network and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

Requirements

Skills and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Nursing, or Health Care Administration for RN, or Master's in Social Work.
  • MSN, MBA, MSW, or MHA.
  • Minimum of 3 years of acute hospital case management or healthcare leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of acute hospital case management leadership multi-site experience.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LMSW) license. Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice.
  • Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification.
