Project REST is on the lookout for a skilled Help Desk Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first line of support for our staff and clients, assisting with technical issues related to our systems and applications. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting computer hardware and software problems, providing training and guidance for users, and ensuring that technical services operate smoothly. Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and effective technical support to staff and clients
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate when necessary
- Maintain and update help desk documentation and user manuals
- Assist in the setup and configuration of computer systems
- Offer training to users on software applications and technology tools
- Monitor and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution
- Collaborate with IT team members to improve systems and processes
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is a plus
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in common software applications, operating systems, and remote support tools
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
