Accounting Manager

Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible to oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Starting Salary Range is $95k+

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end closing process and year-end closing process including audit support
• Manage the completion of Financial Reporting Packages on all entities and monthly/quarterly consolidated the Financial Reporting Package
• Monitoring of daily cash and bank indebtedness supporting the ongoing payment decisions in coordination with accounts payable and purchasing department
• Credit management, including, but not limited to: collection of major past due A/R, coordination of credit hold issues, and determination of customer credit limits and payment terms in cooperation with the sales team
• Coordinate A/R and A/P intercompany reconciliation and payments/collections
• Apply and coordinate Fixed Asset and Depreciation tasks
• General Ledger - Debits, Credits, & Bank reconciliation
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP)
• AR, AP, & Fixed Asset experience required
• Strong General Ledger experience (Debits & Credits) & Reconciliation experience
