Smoker & Company LLC is seeking a Seasonal Administrative Assistant for our office located in Leola, PA. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a busy office where efficiency and effectiveness are critical to top job performance.
As a successful, busy CPA firm with multiple offices in Lancaster and Berks County, Smoker & Company and its Family of Companies provide business services spanning various client needs such as bookkeeping, payroll, legal services, consulting, wealth management, and property management. The company’s mission is to meet the total accounting, tax, and business development needs of its clients to enhance the value of the businesses and individuals we are privileged to serve.
Start Date: December 2024 / January 2025
End Date: Between April 15, 2025 and May 1, 2025
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 9 AM – 6 PM or 8 AM – 5 PM
Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with Adobe and Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Performing varied administrative and clerical tasks related to tax preparation
- Typing/Data Entry
- Filing
- Scanning/Copying documents
- Compiling and organizing client documents, e.g., tax returns
- Answering phones
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task well
- Ability to work both independently as well as cohesively with other team members.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Typing and data entry skills
