Full Job Description

Aardvark Studios is looking for an experienced recruiting professional to partner with our leaders to identify, source and hire A-Player talent.  As a member of our People Team, this position is responsible for all aspects of talent acquisition including networking and sourcing, applicant tracking and screening, and employment branding initiatives to support our rapid growth.

While this role is hybrid, it is expected that this person is physically in the office 5-days a week for the first 90 days to ensure they understand our culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that enables us to build and retain a team of  high-performers
  • Implement innovative sourcing activities including targeted outreach  
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job and candidate profiles, identify & select highly qualified candidates to fill current and anticipated vacancies; train and coach managers on all aspects of the recruitment and selection process
  • Build a strong pipeline of potential candidates and cultivate relationships with universities, area alumni networks, trade associations and other professional organizations
  • Track and report key talent acquisition metrics
  • Partner with marketing to lead employment branding initiatives; coach and motivate existing team members to be brand ambassadors; oversee employee referral award program(s)
  • Manage relationships with external staffing partners
  • Own and facilitate a positive candidate experience ensuring alignment with our values and guiding principles
  • Support HR operations as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or other related discipline preferred but not required 
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate or agency setting; prior experience in a fast-paced, fast growing  organization strongly preferred
  • Track record of success sourcing qualified candidates in short time frames; demonstrated ability to manage multiple positions with differing responsibilities and candidate qualifications;  experience recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles at all levels strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and use of social media platforms as recruiting tools  
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills including high degree of comfort networking and presenting to group
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building
