About the Role:

As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, we are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will manage the reception area, greet and assist visitors, and provide essential administrative support to various departments. Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests as they arrive and connect them with appropriate party.  Ensure compliance with Eriez’ visitor policies
  • Answer phone in a timely manner and direct calls to the appropriate office
  • Act as contact person for telephone agencies; keep record of trouble calls, scheduling for new equipment or equipment changes, dates, equipment orders, etc. 
  • Maintain telephone directories for Office and Plant
  • Various administrative duties as assigned by Human Resources
  • Effectively communicate with internal personnel, representatives, customers and vendors. Train to back-up department personnel as required
  • Generate memos, emails, and reports when appropriate
  • Clerical and administrative tasks for the Sales, Accounting, Production Control and HR Departments
  • Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment
  • Perform other similar duties as assigned by HR and department manager

Requirements

  • High school diploma with some college or equivalent experience / trianing
  • 2 plus years of experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant
  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with supporting Sales, Accounting, Production Control and HR Departments
  • Strong clerical and telephone training and experience. Computer literacy and proficiency with office equipment required
  • Fast, accurate keyboarding (data entry) and filing skills
  • Good communication skills including speaking and writing.  Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone mannerisms
  • Ability to work independently on routine reports and follow-up
  • Demonstrated ability to work with customers, representatives, vendors and all levels of internal organization
  • Above average organizational skills and disciplined in time management

Hourly Pay:$18/hr.
