Full Job Description
Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiver to join our logistics team and ensure the efficient and accurate handling of incoming materials and products.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists for accuracy and quality.
- Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or defects to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with data entry into the inventory management system.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to safely unload and store incoming materials using forklifts and other equipment.
- Ensure all received items are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
- Keep the receiving area organized, clean, and compliant with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline the receiving process and address any issues that arise.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiver, warehouse, or logistics role preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling received products.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and operate forklifts safely.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Hours may range from 40-50 hours per week.
