OCF Realty is one of Philadelphia’s top real estate brokerages and we are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to oversee our commercial space at 399 Market while supporting the OCF Realty Reception team. This customer-facing role involves monitoring building access, welcoming and signing in guests, and promptly forwarding any maintenance-related issues to the building engineer. Additionally, you’ll assist the reception team by fielding customer inquiries, corresponding in our shared inbox, and providing administrative support as needed. Since you will be using technology to expedite your work computer knowledge is required. Candidates should have prior front desk/receptionist experience, multi-tasking abilities, and a positive attitude. If you’re energized by customer service and enjoy supporting others, you may be an excellent fit. 

This position's hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm and offers a starting hourly rate of $18-20 per hour commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical and dental insurance, and 401k matching.

Requirements

  • Welcome tenants, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner ensuring a positive first impression of the property. 
  • Maintain a sign-in log for guests who enter the building
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby, creating an inviting atmosphere for all who enter. 
  • Monitor building access and security systems, promptly alerting the building engineer of any entrance issues or security concerns. 
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the property’s rules and guidelines, consistently implementing community policies to uphold standards. 
  • Efficiently direct maintenance requests to the building engineer, ensuring swift resolution, and relay messages as necessary to facilitate active communication.
  • Provide administrative support to OCF Realty, handling correspondence in shared inboxes and online chat, and assisting with special projects as required. 
  • Professionally answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, offering basic information and assistance when appropriate. 
  • Responsively address customer inquiries via email and chat channels,d demonstrating attentiveness and a solution-oriented approach to meet their needs. 
  • Execute various administrative tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the front desk. 

Benefits

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but high school diploma accepted with some college completed
  • Prior work experience in a front office as a Receptionist or Administrative Assitant, Front desk and hotel experience a plus
  • Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite. 
  • Ability to organize, multitask, and work autonomously while maintaining a positive, friendly attitude
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner
