Summary
This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating floor and roof EWP placement layouts completed by peers. After review conclusion, reviewers have the responsibility to provide accurate feedback to ensure design standards are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Required to perform all duties and responsibilities of EWP Technical Specialist job description
- Review peer EWP design layouts and provide written review comments.
- Analyze and evaluate peer placement plans to ensure design and load transfer has been completed accurately while complying with customer requirements.
- Communicate with peers on any changes to EWP placement plans to ensure accurate designs.
- Maintain positive working relationships with peers.
- Miscellaneous projects as assigned

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. General construction knowledge, blueprint interpretation and load distribution are required. Education and/or Experience
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; five years of EWP design experience is preferred, but not required, or a combination of education and experience.
Technology/Computer Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and have knowledge of CSD iStruct design program or similar design software. Knowledge of BisTrack is a plus.
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel 10% of the year required for team building and continuous improvement opportunities.
