Engineered Wood Products Technical Plan Review/EWP Designer

Summary

This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating floor and roof EWP placement layouts completed by peers. After review conclusion, reviewers have the responsibility to provide accurate feedback to ensure design standards are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Required to perform all duties and responsibilities of EWP Technical Specialist job description
• Review peer EWP design layouts and provide written review comments.
• Analyze and evaluate peer placement plans to ensure design and load transfer has been completed accurately while complying with customer requirements.
• Communicate with peers on any changes to EWP placement plans to ensure accurate designs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with peers.
• Miscellaneous projects as assigned
