Full Job Description
Position: Desktop Support Technician
Location: Morrisville, PA
Duration: 12 months contract
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other computer peripherals
- Respond to help desk tickets promptly and resolve technical problems efficiently
- Set up and manage user accounts and profiles in Active Directory
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches on computer systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support IT projects
- Train employees on basic computer skills and best practices for using company technology
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software problems
- Extensive knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) preferred.
