The role of an MSP Account Manager is multifaceted, involving elements of client relationship management, cross selling of services, and strategic planning. Their primary goal is to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and long-term success for both the client and the MSP.
Job Expectations:

- Provide a 5-Star Experience to all existing and prospective customers
- Follow all company processes, expectations, policies, and procedures
- Proper use of the company CRM system, quoting software, and any other programs as trained and directed
- Work unsupervised, stay productive, be a self-starter, proactive, forward thinking and a profit minded team member
- Attend relevant webinars, seminars, conferences, and vendor training to keep current on training and industry standards
- Represent ONE 2 ONE in the community via events such as conventions, networking events and as directed by management
- Communicate and collaborate with all company departments to achieve defined company and departmental objectives
- Facilitate new customer onboardings for assigned client accounts
- Act as interdepartmental liaison (both internally and externally) for assigned client accounts
- Conduct quarterly and/or annual business reviews with assigned client accounts
- Prepare, review and present client technology budgeting and planning for assigned client accounts
- Facilitate agreement cancellations and change in client agreement services for assigned client accounts
- Provide general account management support for all client accounts, including concerns, complaints, compliments etc.
- Demonstrate a high level of expertise for each company-offered service and product line
- Maintain long-term client retention and relationship strategies.
- Identify, build, and track a pipeline of qualified, quantified inside sales opportunities
- Generate and close a defined number of inside sales opportunities based on department initiatives and campaigns
- Attend client meetings to review, support, and provide sales or company presentations
- Practice consultative selling by listening, educating consumer, establishing relationships, and developing trust
- Deliver sales presentations using the “Top Down” and options sales system for maximized opportunity to close deals
- Meet or exceed assigned inside sales quota amount on a quarterly basis
- Meet or exceed additional assigned key performance metrics as defined by management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s-level degree and technology experience are required
- Minimum of 2 years of client account management experience
- Demonstrated experience in a quota-driven sales environment
- Strong business acumen with client-focused attitude
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Impressive verbal, written, and communications skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with CRM software preferred
