Part-Time Cider Tender, Schilling Cider House Portland

We are looking to add to our team at the Cider House in SE Portland, Oregon. Ideal candidates have a passion for craft cider and/or craft beverage, and experience in food or beverage service or other areas of hospitality. They should be excited to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, ability to multitask, stay motivated, ask for help when needed, and be eager to learn about Cider!

Responsibilities

• Providing cider education, guidance, and recommendations to guests
• Taking orders, pouring cider, and running food
• Cleaning keg lines
• Washing glassware and dishes
• Bussing tables
• Maintaining cleanliness of the cider house and facilities 

Requirements

• Must be 21+
• OLCC and Foodhandler's permits required
• Relevant experience working in hospitality and customer-facing roles
• Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude and engage with guests
• Ability to be on feet for extended periods usually 6-8 hours
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Must have open Saturday/Sunday availability for a variety of shifts (open/mid/closing), with an interest in filling in other days of the week
• Experience or passion for craft beverages is ideal, but not necessary
• Interest in BOH training a plus!
