Full Job Description
As our HR business partner, you enhance the experience of our teams. You cover the entire employee life cycle, overseeing onboarding, benefits, performance management, worker's comp, Leave administration, and offboarding. You report to our senior director of human resources.
Benefits Administration
- Serve as the primary contact for employee benefits and manage clear communication with stakeholders.
- Administer annual open enrollment and perform regular audits for compliance and data integrity.
- Maintain adherence to regulations like ACA and HIPAA, and manage vendor relationships for benefits services.
Performance Management
- Provide performance management guidance, including coaching and corrective action, for company leaders.
- Oversee the performance review process to ensure compliance and fairness across the organization.
- Schedule and facilitate annual performance reviews and related check-ins.
Workers Compensation
- Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with workers’ compensation regulations.
- Ensure timely reporting of claims and facilitate return-to-work processes according to company policies.
- Investigate new claims for accuracy and provide necessary information for ongoing cases.
Leave Administration
- Oversee ADA accommodation requests and serve as the contact for employee leave communication.
- Maintain accurate records for leave eligibility and facilitate smooth transitions back to work.
- Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to enhance employee experience regarding leave processes.
Human Resources Documentation Management
- Manage HR data related to onboarding, terminations, and staff directories, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct pre-screen interviews and background checks for administrative staff, facilitating smooth onboarding.
- Maintain employee records and prepare necessary communication regarding new hires and terminations.
Program Expertise & Utilization Oversight
- HRIS, ATS, and Benefits Administration Systems
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal effectiveness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, with advanced capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accurate record-keeping and project management.
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations for handling PHI and knowledge about workers’ compensation laws.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Five years of management experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations and training.
- Capable of building relationships across all organizational levels while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
