Common Energy is revolutionizing the energy sector. Our platform enables homeowners, renters, and businesses to connect their utility account to new clean energy community solar projects, dramatically lower carbon emissions, and save on their electricity. There is no on-site installation, signing up is free and only takes two minutes. As such, we are a key part of the solution to mitigate global climate change. Common Energy’s board and advisors include executives from Facebook, Google, and President Obama’s cabinet.
In this role, you will provide support for our world class customer service department by assisting in the day to day operations that improve our potential and current customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Proofread, update, and organize internal and external documents.
- Operational Support: Coordinate logistics, manage team activities, and perform general administrative duties.
- Customer Task Management: Assign customer-related tasks and cases to team members, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Reporting & Data Management: Compile, analyze, and present reports on team performance and customer service metrics.
- Team Support: Assist with internal communications, scheduling, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Process Improvement: Support process documentation updates, and suggest improvements to internal systems and procedures.
- Technology & Systems Management: Maintain and update tools such as Asana, Salesforce, and Notion, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in a related field or 1-2 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, proofreading, and documentation skills.
- Proficient with office software: spreadsheets, word processors, and Customer Relationship Management Systems.
- Preferred experience with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Passion for problem-solving and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to quickly establish trust.
- Driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic, with a “can-do” attitude.
