SCOPE OF POSITION:

Oklahoma Chiller is looking for an ambitious, self-motivated person to help us grow our accounting department. This role has responsibility for following up on past due invoices, billing, and accounting support. This position will report to the Controller.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE:

Invoice Follow Ups:

  • Acts as the facilitator of all delinquent accounts.
  • Liaisons with the Sales Team to ensure resolve customer payment disputes.
  • Collects on past due invoices by building strong rapport with customers.
  • Reviews A/R aging and sends monthly statements to customers.

 

Billing:

  • Audit service orders to prepare them for prebilling.
  • Uploads invoice information into customer portals.
  • Works with customer service, techs, and customers to investigate unposted PO’s.

 

Office Administration:

  • Serves as backup to answer in-coming calls, take messages, and screen outside sales calls.
  • Enters Quick PO’s for walk-in technician purchases.
  • Works with Purchasing to update outstanding PO’s receipts for matching.

WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD

  • Proven experience as a business to business collector, billing analyst, or similar role.
  • People skills, professionalism, strong work ethic.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or the equivalent is not required but preferred.
