Job Summary
With minimal supervision, the Sales Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to promote Nextep's products and services and will work closely with the marketing team and leaders to identify target markets, analyze market trends, create and implement sales and marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate for this position has strong communication and interpersonal skills, a strong background in data analysis, sales systems and/or marketing, with a proven track record of developing successful sales strategies, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. This role will also coordinate projects while maintaining the consistency, quality and cohesiveness of the Nextep brand and message.
Responsibilities
- Support sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives by managing the execution process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute top, middle and bottom of the funnel sales and marketing projects and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Manage and maintain sales and marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, social media sites, SEO, and sales and marketing automation systems.
- Support sales by creating and implementing effective sales sequencing strategies to aid efficient top, middle and bottom of the funnel activities and results.
- Develop and implement content for sales and marketing processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and evaluate sales and marketing campaign performance, track KPIs, and provide recommendations for growth and optimum performance.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources, including CRM systems, website analytics, social media platforms, and market research to build reports and provide insights to optimize sales and marketing strategies.
- Analyze market segmentation data to understand customer demographics, behaviors, and needs, and recommend strategies to target specific market segments effectively.
- Work closely with the marketing team to evaluate the effectiveness of various marketing channels and campaigns.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize campaign targeting, messaging, and budget allocation for maximum impact and ROI.
- Maintain and update sales forecasts, dashboards, and reports on a regular basis

Abilities:
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in many situations.
Skills:
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret field related periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and prospects.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of primary programs used by Nextep in business operations. This includes but is not limited to the following: PrismHR; Salesforce.com; Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications; Google applications; Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); marketing software; email management systems, CRM systems and Internet applications.
